Bonnie Tyler knows what I'm feeling right now. Nothing but pain. Nothing but pain and sorrow. I'm depressed, and sad...and to pardon my french F'ing mad.

My wedding ring, and engagement ring were stolen.  Stolen...taken...gone.  I thought they would be safe. I had then in a small bag, when swimming, which had Tampons, Make-up, lotion, travel shampoo & soap, and underwear. The bag...was stolen. The rings were in a small hidden pocket int he bag- so if one looked in side, all they saw were toiletries.  My rings were stolen. 

Of course, this is my current reaction. I just...don't want to talk about it. 

But I want my rings. I don't care about the underwear, the make-up deodorant, and such. I just want my rings. 

I just...as Bonnie Tyler said "It's a heartache."

I'm sorry for not being a happy-go-lucky blogger. I just can't right now. I just can't.

Knitting E-book

Today, I'm joining a wonderful link up. Are you ready...

And, I'm reviewing an Online, knitting E book.  As this is my first review, I'm super nervous that I'm not going to do this right. So please, please, please let me know what you think.

Lace knitting! Have you done it? I have. Contrary to popular belief, lace knitting is pretty hard. For someone like me, who has knitted for a long time, I find lace knitting hard. I always stick the the easy patterns for lace knitting. Once in a while, I do venture out and try a intermediate pattern, but I always feel that I mess them up. Do you ever have that feeling? For me, it's because some how, my lace holes, look bigger, or smaller than they do in the picture. Which really bugs the perfectionist inside me.

While reading this book, I went in with a clear mind. I looked at the book, patterns and pictures. The first pattern looked doable. It makes me excited, because, I feel I could actually make the Celio shell. It really didn't look too hard and the pattern was super easy to read. (which is a plus for me)

The second pattern looks a bit more difficult. I never learned to read patterns in the graph/chart style. So those are a turn off to me right away. I have tried many times to teach myself how to read those, but..it was an epic fail. Which leads me to believe I will never be able to make the wrap. If you know how to read the graph/chart type patterns, then I guess it would be easy. 

The last pattern looked perfect for me. It's a lace to go on a pillow case and it's beautiful. I think if you are learning to start lace knitting, try the third pattern.

My husband and I were having a very interesting conversation this week. We were talking about our dream house.  What it would be like to build one/ design one. (This is all a dream, we cannot afford to build one)  One thing that we began talking about was designing our favorite rooms. H said he wants to design the master bathroom. But for me, it would be the kitchen.

I learned how to walk in a kitchen. I love to cook and bake, and I think some of the best conversations happen in the kitchen.  So, of course I pinned some kitchen that I liked.

My dream kitchen has to have a pantry. I would love a walk-in one. I think it would be great. 

A hidden dishwasher...how cool is that. 

I love the colors and the natural light. I think the best kitchens are ones, that look open, and welcoming. The have a seat for almost everyone, or at least counter top space for people to sit on. They smell great! Like...fresh food. 

What is your favorite room in a house. What would you do with it? How would you decorate it?

Last Thursday Thoughts

Happy Thursday!

Except, it's the last Thursday Thoughts. This is one of my favorite Link-ups and although I have been super busy these past two weeks, I'm going to miss it.  I know Jamie and Jamie said they don't mind if someone else starts it, so...maybe if I can find someone to co-host, I may continue it, since I love it.

Today's thoughts are just...well going to be a damper. I really have nothing new to talk about but I do wonder about life. Sometimes I feel that God doesn't give you more than you can handle. In fact, I know that God doesn't give you more than you can handle. But, sometimes, I feel he gives you a lot. And right now, I'm in that place where I'm wondering if I can handle any more stuff. To be honest, I know I won't be able to. So I'm wondering why God is giving me these challenges? As I think about it, I think it means I need to rework my prayer life with him. Make more time for him. Listen to him more.
At least, I that's what it mean.  IDK, I'm so confused. Which just means it time for two of my favorite bible verses:

Why Short Small and In love

Hello,

Last week end,while I was getting caught up on all the blogs that I love to read, I read a post from Caravan Sonnet. She talked about why she titled her blog. It got me thinking, I never shared the inspiration behind my blog.  The title is one that didn't just come to me. It took a lot of thought.

I wanted something that was unique to me, but what?I could write something about being Italian and Hungarian but really, that just didn't seem right.

Something about getting married, but then what would happen to the blog after I was married?

My hobbies...but how could I turn those into a title?

Then I thought about my height. I always get comments about how short I am. Sometimes I say "I'm not Short, I'm fun size"  but Fun size didn't sound like a good blog title. Short did.  But what should go after it?

Small, mainly because I feel small a lot of the time. Not physically small, but emotionally, intellectually, and just all round small. Plus, I like smallest things. They fit with me. (Small dogs, small cars, small dresser, lamps and cottages).

But what else? Since I would be talking about my love (My husband) and then my hobbies, why not have love in my title.

Then I played around with the wording and ended up with :Short,Small, and in Love.

Happy Father's Day!

I want to say Happy Father's day to all the dads out there. And I want to share a story about Winston, he didn't give my husband a father's day gift this morning, but he does want to go to the dog park.

Now, on to other topics. I spent most of yesterday cleaning and it felt good. Like I wasn't just cleansing the house, but cleansing my body. Leading to other ways to cleanse the body.  Lately, I feel that I have gotten a stupid bug from the kids at work (yes, kiddo always get you sick) But I have been thinking, about eating healthier food.

Working out

Happy Tuesday!

So I posted on Monday about how I need to get back into the swing of things. Mainly getting back into working out. These past few weeks I have been working 10 to 12 to 14 hour days. UGH! And they suck because I haven't had time to work out and I haven't been eating the best either. :( But that is all going to change.

So, this week I'm planning on eating an apple a day. (Mainly because I love apples, and have been craving them.)

No Internet

Happy Sunday!

I had a great, GREAT, weekend. Of course little old me forgot to take pictures of it, so I will just have to tell you all it and hope that you can imagine it.

My Husband took me up to my friends Cabin and we had a blast. We helped her family put in her pier, celebrated her birthday and our (my husband and I) first anniversary, and just hung out by a camp fire.  And best of all there is one picture (it's not the greatest of me- I look a bit bloated so just forget that)

But the best part is we were with out internet. We got away, we were able to just enjoy each other's company without every one texting (since there was really no phone service either) and  we just got to chill. 

We also had our cake!!! (The replica of our top tier that I posted about on Thursday - man it has been a long time since I posted) and we ate a lot. So much so, that I will be posting some work out stuff, because this week I'm getting back in the grove of running and working out.

Long week

It's been a long rainy week. I really wish it was Friday, but I really, REALLY, can't wait until Saturday! I know some people may know why, but for those who don't it's because Saturday will the 1 year anniversary of my marriage! Yes,I will have been married to the best man for me for 1 year!

I'm super excited. We will be having CAKE! On our little mini-moon we had top tier because it wasn't in a freezer burn proof box. So, my husband, being the amazing man that he is ordered a cake from the bakery where we got our wedding cake from. He got us our own top tier! I'm super excited to pick it up tomorrow and eat it on Saturday! So, some pictures of my wedding cake.

Have your allergies been killing you? Mine have been driving me insane. My nose is all stuffy and my eyes and mouth are all itchy. Ugh I hate allergies. I feel they are crazy insane creatures who want to end up killing us.
