18 weeks...what do you think?

Today I am 18 weeks! So here's the picture?

So the baby is the size of a sweet potato. Or if you are like me and get confused with the veggie/fruit..the baby is now the size of a pint of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream. (Ohh ice cream)

Let's see, my baby is able to yawn and hiccup, and is doing acrobats. We all know that the baby has found my bladder, but now the baby want to keep me up at night. I have insomnia.

Wedding Tuesday

With H's new Job, it's better for him not to wear his ring right now. :( So he has left it in my possession. I will make sure that nothing happens to it, but holding on to his ring is also super sad because the person who stole mine, was never found. :(. I was really looking forward to being able to do the wedding ring test once I started showing to figure out if this baby is a boy or a girl. I know, it's will be wrong, or I will forget it once the baby comes. But I figure it could be fun.

Anyways, some wedding pics. All of these were taken by Mandy.

The move continues

I really have nothing to post about right now. The move is still going on, and it's taking for ever. I really can't wait until it is done.

Winston Boy

This week Winston Boy has been...well, a Winston boy. Anyways here is a post from his point of view.

So... we are staying at a new place. They have a comfy couch. I'm allowed on it. It's great!!!  It's so big and comfy. Also, it's by a window. I can look outside and see things. Like the big dog who lives below me right now. His name is buddy. He is like 10 times my size. He looks like this:

Anyways, I freaked my mommmy and daddy out. You see, they went to sleep on Saturday night and I didn't have a tennis ball. No ball at all. When they woke up on  Sunday, I had a brand new tennis ball. Brand New!!! They couldn't figure out where I got it, until yesterday!. Yup, I'm sneaky like that.

Woof, woof, woof,

It's a New Girl time....

I seriously love my Husband. This week-end has been nothing but chaos! If I go into the details, you all would need a coffee break in the middle of reading it, and then a cookies at the end. So to save your eyes, I'm just going to brag about my husband, and his awesome friends who helped us out.

Actually, we are staying with them, until our new place opens up for us. So, it's me, and three guys. In a way, I feel like Jess form New Girl

So, we have all of our stuff in their apartment, along with Winston. Which makes this super fun. Of course, for me, since I couldn't really help with moving items, the first thing I do for all these men is make them dinner. (It's the least I could do, like really, my husband and his friends have been wonderful).  But, in the process of making dinner this was the only  thought going through my head

And then, if anything ends up bugigin me, I might say something like this

Anyways, I'm super excited for this next week. Of course I will be on the road again, but, soon and very soon, I will be posting about my new place. and then maybe...just maybe...we might buy some stuff for the baby.

Ciao,

16 weeks!!! What do you think?

Today I am 16 weeks. So do you think there is a bump?

Oh and for fun, Seedling is waving at you!

So on to notes!

Baby is the size of an Avocado! Yum, yum. I really want some avocado egg salad now.

Seedling is able to do a lot this week! For starters, my little wiggle worm (that's what the Dr. called seedling on Tuesday) is moving around a lot! And I may be able to start to feel the baby moving! I really hope I can feel my baby move. I know my baby has found my bladder and is jumping on it all the time.

I also think I have a big baby. My phone app says that the baby should weigh about 2.75 oz to 3.5 oz. My baby weighs 4 oz. I'm hoping that is a good thing. The heart beat was 162 on Tuesday..so nice and high.

Seedling can make facial expressions, and has finger nails! Seedling is also covered in tiny little hairs called lanugo for protection but should lose all of that before he/she is born.

Symptoms: I'm tired all the time.Plus I have a cold, so that makes me more tired.  Otherwise...I'm only throwing up 1 to 2 times a day, sometimes it's 3 to 4 times a week!!!!! Which is great. I have had no weight gain, but what ever.  I also have some acne :(

Projects: Nothing new. I don't want to to have something started and then lose the baby. I cannot jinx myself like that.

Gender prediction...So what do you think? Do you need food cravings? If so, not to much...just salt, meat, chocolate and fruit. Ohh strawberries and ice cream.

So, what do you think?

Sorry for sleeping...

A week! this past week, instead of posting, I would come home from work and fall asleep. Sorry.
But I have some super exciting news....are you ready?

We are moving! and in 10 days. 10DAYS!  There is so much to do! We need to find aplace to live, we need pack,  to clean, and do so much.
                                  moving tips
Yet...I have been so tired. I think it's the second trimester tiredness, which is horrible for me at this time.  But, I'm hoping where ever we live will be more organized than where I live now. Maybe with stuff like this?

What do you all think?

Do you ever?

Do you ever have those days where you just need a bottle of wine? Or would love to eat an entire bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough? How about having a big milkshake with whip cream and a cherry on top?

Today was one of those days for me. Actually, the past two days have been like that. But, being the good, healthy pregnant women I'm trying to be, I haven't given in to the cravings. To be honest, I would love a back message, but even that is on the no list. I have never realized how many things on the "no" list there are and how many things I love are on the "no" list.

But, forgetting my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, I do wish for a bottle of wine.

Or to just be able to do this sometimes.

What about you? And speaking of wine, what is your favorite. Currently, I would like:

Ahhh...Cupcake wines. I really, like them.

Undie's Run

Hello all,

So, as many of you know I have NF. I have talked about it a few times, but now that I'm expecting...I'm wondering how will it affect me and the baby. So, I'm off to do some more research.

I did have a surprise when I logged into Facebook the other day. This was my little sister's status:
"Each year 7,000 children are born with Neurofibromatosis (NF) a disease that causes tumors to grow on the nervous system. NF can cause blindness, deafness, learning disabilities, and severe chronic pain. Currently there is no cure for NF and very few options for treatment. Children’s Tumor Foundation is a non-profit medical foundation which has been fighting to end Neurofibromatosis for the last 30 years. My family is personally affected with NF, for this reason along with many others; Children’s Tumor Foundation is the charity which I have chosen to support this year. In an effort to help end this disease I will be running in Cupid’s Undie Run and I ask many of you to do the same. Cupid’s Undie Run raises not only awareness of this illness but money to help support the research as well. If those affected can be so brave to live with the cards they’ve been dealt, then the least we can do is to put on our underwear and go for a run in the dead of winter to help raise awareness and support. If this sounds like something you are interested in there are 17 locations Nationwide. I will be running in Minneapolis this winter and anyone who wants to join me can! For me information either ask me or click on the link below. ‪#‎endnf‬‪#‎imwithcupid‬"

Cupid's Undie Run is back in 2014.. with a whole bunch of new cities! Check it out, and make sure to pre-register: www.cupidsundierun.com #imwithcupid #endnf

If there was a love button, I would love this.  I think it is important to be able to raise money for NF. I also think it is important to raise money for a cause that you love. I know that my husband is going to run with her since I will not be able to. I encourage all of you to help raise money for one of your causes, and if you don't have a cause....join mine.

14 weeks

Today I am 14 weeks.

Baby is the size of a Lemon!

Seedling is able to squint, frown, grimace and pee. He/she can also suck his/her thumb! The kidneys are working on their own this week.

Symptoms: I'm still super tired and throwing up everyday. But, I am able to keep some food down.
I don't think I'm showing yet...but my Dr said it should be soon since I'm so short with a short torso. My husband thinks that I have started to round out a bit more.

Projects- we haven't brought anything for the baby yet. I'm really nervous about buying items, I don't want to buy something and then lose the baby. I have started some knitted projects. I will post about them when they are done.

Food cravings: I haven't had too much. I have noticed that I do like the taste of beef which is huge for me, as well as Oreo's (like real Oreo's, not the generic)

Gender prediction: Everyone is saying boy. The Old Wives tales are 50/50 boy girl. I have no idea. I guess I will see when it comes out. What do you all think Seedling could be?

Ciao,
